Using 11Places.

1. Our role as a directory

11Places helps people discover businesses, local deals, events, jobs, housing, and community garage and yard sales. We provide advertising and directory services. We are not the seller, employer, landlord, property broker, healthcare provider, event organizer, or agent of an advertiser merely because its content appears here. Transactions and agreements with advertisers are between you and that advertiser.

Featured spots are advertising placements, not independent quality rankings, certifications, background checks, or recommendations. Free businesses may rotate through unreserved positions. Inclusion, moderation, and payment do not guarantee a business’s qualifications, safety, reliability, availability, or results.

2. Advertiser content and third-party services

Businesses and other contributors are responsible for the content they supply and for the products, services, employment opportunities, properties, events, and deals they advertise. They must honor their own agreements and comply with applicable laws. To the extent permitted by law, 11Places is not responsible for third-party content, acts or omissions, inaccurate claims, service failures, injuries, losses, or disputes arising from those offerings.

We do not independently verify every submission or imported record. Details may be incomplete or outdated. Confirm prices, hours, qualifications, availability, fees, deposits, refund conditions, and other material terms directly with the provider before relying on a listing or making a commitment. Links to outside websites are provided for convenience; those sites have their own terms and privacy practices and are not controlled by us.

Garage & yard sales and in-person meetings

Garage and yard sale posts are free community notices, not sales conducted by 11Places. We do not inspect items, verify every seller or address, run background checks, arrange meetings, process sale payments, or provide escrow, insurance, buyer protection, or a guarantee that a sale is legitimate. Listings, photos, prices, dates, item condition, ownership, and availability may be inaccurate or change without notice. Automated checks and moderation are not an endorsement or assurance of safety.

Confirm important details independently. Inspect goods before paying; avoid advance deposits and requests for gift cards, wire transfers, or verification codes. Visit only during advertised sale hours, consider bringing another person, and leave if you feel unsafe. For individual exchanges, use a well-lit public location when practical. Do not enter private areas without permission. Use reasonable care when meeting strangers; no precaution eliminates every risk. Report suspicious listings through Contact and call emergency services for immediate danger.

Posters must be at least 18, have permission to advertise the sale and location, provide accurate details, have rights to their photos, and end or update a cancelled sale promptly. Post only lawful household sales; do not advertise stolen or recalled goods, weapons or ammunition, controlled substances, prescription medicines, alcohol, tobacco or vaping products, live animals, or unlawful services. Sellers are responsible for applicable permits, taxes, product safety and other legal obligations. Photos must not expose another person’s private information without permission.

Sale posts expire at their stated final closing time or no later than seven days after posting. Editing does not restart this window. We may limit submissions or remove listings for misuse. Expiry removes public access but does not immediately erase owner history or backups. Any purchase or dispute is between buyer and seller. Our existing lawful disclaimers and liability limitations apply; nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

3. Accounts and authority

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement to submit a listing (including a garage or yard sale) or purchase advertising. If you act for a business, you represent that you have authority to bind it. Manage only businesses you are authorized to represent, safeguard your sign-in account, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

4. Content standards and ownership

Submit accurate information and promptly correct or remove outdated listings, filled jobs, unavailable properties, expired deals, and cancelled events. Advertisers are responsible for required licenses, permissions, disclosures, taxes, pricing, offer restrictions, and compliance with advertising, employment, housing, accessibility, consumer-protection, and other applicable laws. Do not post discriminatory housing or hiring requirements, fraudulent claims, impersonation, spam, unlawful material, threats, harassment, hate speech, vulgar content, malicious files, or private information without permission.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant 11Places a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, resize, and display content you submit for publication as needed to operate and promote your listings within the service. You represent that you have the necessary rights to the text, trademarks, logos, photos, and other materials, including required permissions from people depicted. This license does not transfer ownership of your business or intellectual property to us. It ends when the content is removed, except for reasonable backup retention, legal obligations, and copies already lawfully distributed.

Do not bypass access controls, impersonate another account, interfere with the site, harvest personal information for unlawful purposes, or misuse our systems. Nothing in these terms prohibits lawful, honest consumer reviews or reports to regulators.

5. Moderation and reporting

We may review, decline, restrict, correct, or remove content or suspend an account for a violation of these terms, legal requirements, security concerns, or misuse. We do not promise to monitor every item or detect every problem, and moderation is not verification or endorsement. Automated wording checks may produce mistakes; use the available review-request option or contact us to request reconsideration.

Report inaccurate content, infringement, scams, or other concerns through Contact or email shane91877@gmail.com. Include the page address, the content involved, your concern, and information supporting your report. We may request additional details and take appropriate action. Contact emergency services directly for an immediate threat.

6. Advertising, subscriptions, and cancellation

Public paid enrollment is not open yet. Live billing is currently restricted to administrator testing. An application, waiting-list request, listing approval, or acceptance of these general terms does not by itself authorize a payment. Sandbox tests are separate: they do not create real charges or purchase advertising.

Monthly paid placements

When paid enrollment is available to you, the billing screen identifies your approved listing, featured spot, and monthly price in U.S. dollars before you continue to Stripe checkout. Current monthly prices are $99 for spot 1, $89 for spot 2, $79 for spot 3, $69 for spot 4, $59 for spot 5, and $49 for each spot from 6 through 11. Charities & Nonprofits placements are free. Your purchase is for the listing, city, category, and spot shown for that subscription.

A paid subscription begins when payment is completed and confirmed. By agreeing to the monthly subscription terms and completing payment, you authorize recurring monthly charges at the price shown until you cancel. Review the total and billing details in Stripe before paying. Opening checkout alone does not charge your card. An unpaid application does not reserve a spot, and an unfinished checkout is not an active paid placement.

Cancellation and your featured spot

You can stop renewal through Manage billing. Select your business, open its billing controls, and complete the cancellation in Stripe before the next renewal. Return to your billing page to check the cancellation confirmation and access end date. If you cannot access billing or believe the status is wrong, contact shane91877@gmail.com for help.

Cancellation stops the next renewal and keeps an otherwise eligible placement active through its confirmed paid period. After that period ends, your featured spot is no longer held for you and another business may reserve it. Returning later does not guarantee the same position or when it may become available. Cancellation does not itself delete your account or business information.

Payment problems and refunds

Failed or unconfirmed payments can interrupt paid placement. Billing shows the saved payment status and access dates; contact us if a completed payment is not reflected. You can update payment details and view invoices through Manage billing.

Cancelling renewal does not automatically issue a refund for the current paid period. To request review of a charge, duplicate payment, or service problem, email shane91877@gmail.com with your business name and invoice reference. Do not send full card details. Any refund depends on the circumstances, applicable purchase terms, and applicable law; this policy does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

We do not guarantee traffic, leads, sales, employment applicants, search-engine positions, or other financial results from advertising. Free community rotation is separate from a paid reserved placement and does not guarantee continued placement after a subscription ends.

7. Deletion, availability, and changes

Deleting a listing permanently removes its profile, photos, and related content as described in the confirmation prompt. Keep your own copies; recovery is not guaranteed. Other listings or events under your account may remain. An active subscription or billing test must be ended, or its pending checkout cancelled, before the listing can be deleted or reassigned. Scheduling cancellation for the end of a paid period does not immediately end the subscription. Deleting content is not, by itself, confirmation of a subscription cancellation or a refund.

Features may change, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. We may update these terms prospectively by posting a new effective date and will provide additional notice or seek agreement when required by law. A change will not retroactively authorize charges or take away rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the directory and third-party content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or that third-party information is complete, accurate, or suitable for your needs. These exclusions apply only where lawful and do not override an express written promise we make to you or any nonwaivable statutory warranty.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 11Places and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or lost data arising from use of the service. Subject to the exceptions below, our total aggregate liability for claims arising out of the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the fees you paid directly to 11Places for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for our fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If your jurisdiction does not permit a limitation, it applies only to the extent permitted there.

10. Business indemnification

If you submit content or advertise on behalf of a business, you and that business agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify and hold harmless Monahan Professional Services, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your submitted content; your advertised products, services, jobs, housing, events, or deals; your infringement of another person’s rights; or your violation of these terms or applicable law. This obligation applies only to the extent the claim is caused by your conduct or that of people acting on your behalf. It does not require you to cover our own negligence, fraud, willful misconduct, or breach of these terms.

We will give reasonably prompt notice of a covered claim and reasonable cooperation at your expense. You may control its defense with qualified counsel reasonably acceptable to us, subject to conflicts of interest. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by us, imposes nonmonetary obligations on us, or fails to fully release us without our written consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld. This business indemnity does not apply to a visitor merely browsing the directory, posting a lawful honest review, or making a good-faith complaint.

11. Disputes and general terms

Please first contact us to try to resolve a concern informally. These terms are governed by Iowa law, without its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise. Subject to applicable consumer rights and court-jurisdiction rules, disputes may be brought in the state or federal courts serving Woodbury County, Iowa. Nothing here prevents a complaint to a regulator or access to a court or remedy that applicable law protects.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of future enforcement. These terms, together with any specific terms you accept for a service, govern use of that service. We do not make an advertiser’s separate promises on its behalf.
